100 words drabble for Giles set in the buffyverse, any season.
In the Café Giles sat drinking a cup of tea at a table next to a gaggle of girls. While pretending to read his newspaper Giles leaned in slightly trying to listen in on their conversation. Sadly he could not translate what they were saying into his mother-tongue. Their language was filled with many words, pronunciations and sayings that were lost to Giles despite his years of study. Giving up Giles stood up and left, folding his newspaper under his arm. Turning to glance at the girls Giles muttered under his breath, “bloody Americans,” as he exited the Espresso Pump.
